At Workspace Technology, we wear our badges with honour as we are proud of our awards and accolades that have been bestowed upon us over the years. A selection of our projects have earned us a place on the podium at industry awards which have been a result of our commitment to deliver high quality installations and services for our clients.
Various projects ranging from small containerised micro data centres to large shared services modular facilities for both public and private sector have received industry recognition for their energy efficiency, design innovation and scalable modularity. Designing data centres that are sustainable, energy efficient and sympathetic to the surroundings have undoubtedly provided us with a competitive edge and raised our overall profile.
Our achievements have included winning the EAUC Green Gown Award in 2013 with University of Aberdeen to the DataCenterDynamics EMEA Awards in 2014 with Leiciester City Council and the Network Computing Awards in 2015 for our own cooling system Freecool.
More recently, 2018, we were Finalists in the DCS Awards for our Rack Colocation Centre, DC One based at our Head Office in Sutton Coldfield.

Workspace Technology has received the Armed Forces Covenant Bronze Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
Electrical Safety Register
Workspace Technology is a fully Certified Electrical Contractor under the ECA Scheme. ECA is the UK’s leading trade association representing the interests of contractors who design, install, inspect, test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and services.
EU Code of Conduct
The EU Code of Conduct aims to inform and stimulate data centre operators and owners to reduce energy consumption. As a member of the EU Code of Conduct Workspace Technology aims to improve understanding of energy demand within the data centre, raise awareness, and recommend energy efficient best practice and targets. As an Endorser Workspace Technology is committed to follow the intent of the Code of Conduct and abide by a set of agreed commitments.
