Covid 19: Business Update

14th, April 2020

Workspace Technology continues to provide key services to clients working closely with our supply chain to ensure that their mission critical IT infrastructure is working as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Our Service Team are busy organising Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer visits at our client’s sites, which have seen an increase in recent days as more of our clients begin to realise the importance of not falling behind on crucial maintenance visits. The team are on hand as always should an emergency fault occur, and engineers are being organised to attend sites up and down the country ensuring that they experience no unplanned downtime.

Remedial works are being arranged and we are busy sourcing parts that are becoming more and more in demand due to shortages from the manufacturers. However, due to our positive relationships with our supply chain we are currently fulfilling all our clients’ requirements and providing a first-class service.

Critical projects continue to be delivered by our Project Team, working within the guidelines for construction sites set out by the Government. By working together, we are overcoming new challenges, sourcing where necessary new supply chain partners and adopting alternative working practices to ensure that the project stays on track. Staying away from home and getting accommodation during these unprecedented times has been a bit of a challenge for our Team members, and as an organisation we appreciate the commitment and professionalism of our employees.

Our Sales Team continue to communicate with our existing clients to ensure that their data centre needs are met and to provide assurance that we are still operating as normal. With many of our clients deriving from the Healthcare and Emergency Services sectors, we are on hand to react to their requests and to ensure that they can continue to provide critical services to the country.

Finally our Pre-Sales Team are working hard to put together state-of-the-art designs for future data centre projects so that our clients are ready to hit the ground running when normality returns or to cope with the need to scale up their IT infrastructure during the pandemic.

Workspace Technology is proving once again that we are a solid, reputable and professional company that can ride the storm. Now is not the time to rest on your laurels when it comes to taking care of your IT infrastructure. With the threat of power shortages to come and the increase in dependency on data, do you have peace of mind that you are doing everything that you can?
