Workspace Technology the UK’s leading data centre design, build and management company announces exclusive partnership with Excool, the UK’s leading manufacturer of indirect fresh air cooling systems.
Excool part of Integrated Eco Technologies Ltd recognised the need to address the growing demands to reduce energy of data centre cooling technology. Following significant research and product development Excool now lead the market in the design and manufacture of indirect cooling technology.
By deploying indirect air-to-air heat exchange technology, the Excool system uses only outside ambient air and water to cool data centre infrastructure. Excool have developed a heat exchange matrix that delivers optimised data centre environmental control all year round.
Water is introduced into the system to achieve design conditions in higher external ambient temperatures. The deployment of Excool will make significant contributions to energy savings. Excool when combined with contemporary data centre design will support the industry’s lowest “closed loop” PUE ratings (PUE3 <1.1).
