Workspace Technology has extensive expertise and experience of delivering Freecool® evaporative free air cooling systems from many clients across the UK. The savings published in our many case studies are realistic and fully achievable.
Freecool® Energy Performance Contracting (FEPC) is a scheme introduced by Workspace Technology to fund the deployment of our leading range of Freecool® energy efficient data centre cooling solutions.
The FEPC scheme enables Freecool® systems to be installed at no charge to replace existing cooling systems or to act as the primary cooling technology. The scheme is funded by energy savings been paid to Workspace Technology until the capital investment has been repaid. The scheme requires an accurate benchmark of the existing cooling system energy consumption which is mutually agreed by all parties.
Following capital repayment Workspace Technology will continue to receive a reduced % share of savings until the end of the agreed term. At the end of the term the equipment will revert to client ownership and the client will benefit from 100% of all energy savings. If the system fails to payback the capitol during the agreed term there will be no requirement to extend the contract therefore all financial risk lies with Workspace Technology.
This scheme is primarily aimed at organisations with legacy or poor efficiency data centre cooling systems.
